The Problem
2.3 million pupils in the UK did little or no school work during lockdown.
97% of private school pupils had access to home computer whereas 1 in 5 pupils on free school meals had no access to a home computer.
There is a 46% bigger learning gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers as of July 2020 than it was a year earlier.

Our Solutions
Financial Commitment
The Tevin Tobun Foundation offers funds to support disadvantaged students to catch up with lost learning due to Covid-19.
Supporting Students
This academic year, we are committing to support disadvantaged Year 11 students to catch up on lost learning and decrease the learning gap.
Capacity Support
Working with partners, as part of the programme, we aim to provide young people with access to mentorship support for academic motivation and career development.
Learning Infrastructure
Laptops
At inception, the programme provided students with access to a laptop enabling young people to continue learning and take some of the pressure off both parents and schools.
Additional Learning
Tutoring
Maths, English & Science tuition sessions are provided by DBS checked qualified teachers through our delivery partners Croydon Supplementary Education Programme and AA Educates.
Making Digital Inclusive
Internet
Access to the internet should not be a luxury, but a necessity to support education. In the initial stages of the programme, we provided young people with internet access to support home learning.
